Jack to Phono Records has been running since 2004 with 25 vinyl and 9 CD albums released to date, and a global following. Jack to Phono records was spawned from the naughty Jacques Laverne Empire in 2004, purveyors of quality sound recordings. Focus is mainly on the electronic/dance side of music with artists such as Beatphreak, Flevans, Phase 5 Stereo, Dr Stereo, Tombee, Diego & The Dissidents and Blue Foundation releasing with the company. A shift in focus over the last 6 months has seen the development of Live/ Indie/ Folk acts with The Seal Cub Clubbing Club, The Tom Eno Project and Ghost Society.

The company has been featured on BBC Radio One and 6 Music over the last 12 months with 3 sessions and one album becoming album of the week on 6 Music. Also featured in Craig Charles’ singles of the year in 2010 and included in Drowned in Sound Top 100 singles of 2010.
Over the past 18 months also featured on HBO’s Entourage and has become the sound of Sky Sports and various BBC shows. Individual tracks have been featured in Rabbit Hole (Nicole Kidman), the new Milka commercial and a Vicks commercial.
2012 has started with a bang with Radio play from Steve Lamacq, Rob Da Bank, Andrew Collins & Josie Long,Tom Robinson, Jarvis Cocker and Don Letts and mentions on the Craig Charles Show. Local Radio such as Sean McGinty and Dave Monks have been jamming the airwaves with Jack to Phono. Tom Eno , Bird , Upskiboo , Diego & the Dissidents have all reached shows with special live session by Bird and Ring Ring Rouge. Up and coming releases for 2012 include ?Jackknife? by Tom Eno, The Red Telephone EP by Ring Ring Rouge, 8 Track by Phase 5 Stereo. Adele Emmas from Bird was chosen to represent up and coming musicians at Abbey Road studios in January and has been receiving fantastic support from BBC Introducing.
